You can use the brushes for personal and business use and you dont have to link back to us.
This package contains 10 sparkle / star brushes.

The brushes are created with photoshop 7, so the brushes can be used with PS 7 and up.
You can download the brushes here.

We offer expert MB2-631 tutorials and 642-631 study guide for designers and developers. Sign up for professional 642-982 web designing course to become expert.

How to:
I have created a small tutorial to create the same effect as shown in the preview above.

1. You need to create a black background.
2. Create a new layer and, set the foreground color to white and use the star brush on the new layer.
3. Now you have a white star on a black background.
4. Open the layer style of the layer  with the star (this can be donw by double clicking the layer) and set a outer glow and inner glow as shown below.

Outer Glow:
settings-1

Inner Glow:
settings-2

Thats all. Good luck.

This is a desperate cry for help. I don’t know anyone else to turn to right now, so I turn to you and hope that you can help. I can’t make it work 🙁 When I push “Load Brushes” nothing appears, not even the original brushes. I tested to download it again but it said that I already have it. It’s saved as an .arb file automatically, so it’s not that. I have even tried to download other brushes, but when I extract them to the map “Brushes” it’s failing, some error.
It’s frustrating that I can’t make it work. Do you have a slightest clue on whats wrong or what I might have done wrong?

Posted by chris on October 28, 2009 at 4:08 pm

Hi NINA, did you load the brushes just like this screenshot?
    http://tutorialfreakz.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/10/load-brushes1.jpg

    When you downloaded the brushes.
Press B to load the brush tool, then click the little arrow (as shown in the screenshot) and click “Load Brushes…” when you loaded the brushes scroll down in your brushes panel, and there they will be.

How do you do the foreground color to white?

Posted by chris on December 26, 2009 at 8:39 pm

Hi, to pick the foreground color take a look to this screenshot.

    http://tutorialfreakz.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/12/foregoundcolor.jpg

    Good luck.

    Is that a foreground. :$
    I’m sorry..

But, If I make the foreground white, than is the background alsof white.. Because the black is then gone.

    Or am I wrong?

Posted by me on December 27, 2009 at 2:24 pm

    I’m sorry, I get it. =’]

    It works.. THANK YOU!

Posted by Me on December 27, 2009 at 9:04 pm

Just one question. How do you get yours so ‘dark’? [I mean the stars..]

Posted by chris on December 28, 2009 at 2:20 pm

I do not exactly know what you mean, but i gues its because i have a black background.

Posted by Me on December 28, 2009 at 5:41 pm

Alright, because my stars aren’t so dark like yours. Yours is more beautiful, more sparkle. 🙂
But Thanks, you really helped me.
