Welcome to TutorialFreakz.com,

My name is Chris, i am the founder of TutorialFreakz.com and the owner of iPhoneFreakz.com  and today this site is officially launched.

TutorialFreakz.com will be a website where you can find all kinds of tutorials about Photoshop, PHP, HTML and more.
Also you would be able to find a lot of freebies and articles to help you
inspire to create some amazing photoshop artwork, websites and more.

Lets start of with showing you how to create the logo of TutorialFreakz.com.
This is a very basic tutorial for beginners.


STEP 1
First we need to create a new photoshop document (CTRL + N). Lets make the width 700px and height 300px.

STEP 2

Now we fill the background with a color (press G) to open the Paint Bucket Tool tut_logo_icon_1 and set the foreground color to #392b21.

STEP 3

Now press (T) to open the Type Tool tut_logo_icon_2 and set the Font Style, and Size to your needs. I used the settings below.

STEP 4

Select the area where you want your text to apear and type whatever you like. You now have 2 layers: a background layer and a text layer.

STEP 5

Now double click the Text Layer to edit the layer style.
Set the Drop Shadow settings as below:

And the Gradient Overlay settings as below:

The logo should now look something like this:

STEP 6

I added a slogan to finish it.
