This does not really have much to do with design, but i think it can be fun to read for media designers, web designers, website owners and people with humor.
Ones in a while some advertisers bump into the problem of Misplaced Ads. So i created a list of 30 unfortunately placed ads so other designers and advertisers will not make the same mistake.
1. I really like this one. Every webdesigner knows what 404 means right?
2. This one is really misplaced, i am wondering if the webmaster noticed the banner.
4. Look at the google ads on the right.
5. Take a look at the bittorrent at on the right, i think that ad will be clicked a lot.
6. Ad left Change Is Possible. Ad right You Wish.
7. I dont think anyone will buy that coffee.

21. This one is definitely not misplaced. The ad on the bus reads: If you don’t have GIO Third Party Property Insurance, we suggest you don’t hit this bus.

Well as far as number 8 go, I think that was quite intentional (funeral services) and so it is oné of the funniest ads i have ever seen.

I’m an advertiser, and indeed there are a lot of those misplacements.
However, as the person above said, the funeral service ad on the subway was really intentional.
Even though the joke is pretty awful, they’ve intentionally used the sarcasm in order to promote the funeral services. After all, it’s something people always hope they won’t have to use, and there they are, asking them to take a step forward in such a place.
I find it funny, actually. And very creative. =p
